Episcopal Church removed
[edit]I have removed the "Episcopal Church" section. Issues:
- No references (except one for Shahzad Masih and Shama Bibi which is [failed verification])
- It seems to relate to Protestantism in general as opposed to Episcopal Church (United States) or any other Episcopal Church (disambiguation)
- Many are from denominations that do not practice veneration in the sense given in the lede of this article. Admittedly one or two may be venerated by some denomination other than their own (e.g. Martin Luther King — though not AFAIK his wife — in Anglicanism).
- I suspect some couples were added on the assumption that the criterion for entry is something like "couples who did Worthy Deeds motivated by Christian Faith" which is too vague for a Wikipedia list.
FWIW here is the list:
- Martin Luther (1483-1546) and Katharina von Bora Luther (1499-1552), Founders of the Lutheran Church (Germany)
- Kamehameha IV (1834-1863) and Emma of Hawaii (1836-1885), Anglican Couple; King and Queen of Hawaii (United States)

- William Booth (1829-1912) and Catherine Mumford Booth (1829-1890), Methodist Couple; Founders of the Salvation Army (United Kingdom)
- Samuel Barnett (1844–1913} and Henrietta Weston Barnett (1851–1936), Anglican Couple; Social Reformers (United Kingdom)
- John Cornelius Stam (1907-1934) and Elisabeth Alden Scott Stam (1906-1934), Protestant Couple; Missionary in China; Martyrs (United States-China)
- Eberhard Arnold (1883-1935) and Emmy von Hollander Arnold (1884-1980), Anabaptist Couple; Founders of Bruderhof (Germany)
- Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell (1857-1941) and Olave St. Clair Baden-Powell née Soames (1889-1977), Anglican Couple; Pioneers of Scouting (United Kingdom)
